Sensing-Communication Coexistence vs. Integration

چکیده
The design options of sensing-communication coexistence (SCC) vs. integrated sensing and communications (ISAC) relying on non-orthogonal downlink transmission (NO-DLT) transmit antenna selection are investigated. To be practical, both realistic residual hardware impairments (RHI) imperfect successive interference cancellation considered. performance the SCC ISAC NO-DLT frameworks is characterized by deriving exact asymptotic outage probabilities (OPs) as well probability successful target detection (PoD). Our numerical results demonstrate accuracy theoretical analysis confirm that: 1) framework superior to in terms its OP PoD; 2) RHI degrades S&C frameworks.

Coexistence of strategic vertical separation and integration
Coexistence of Strategic Vertical Separation and Integration by Jos Jansen This paper gives conditions under which vertical separation is chosen by some upstream firms, while vertical integration is chosen by others in the equilibrium of a symmetric model. A vertically separating firm trades off fixed contracting costs against the strategic benefit of writing a (two-part tariff, exclusive deale...
متن کاملSimultaneous Messages vs. Communication
In the multiparty communication game introduced by Chandra, Furst, and Lipton CFL] (1983), k players wish to evaluate collaboratively a function f (x0; : : : ; xk?1) for which player i sees all inputs except xi: The players have unlimited computational power. The objective is to minimize the amount of communication. We consider a restricted version of the multiparty communication game which we ...
متن کاملTechnological Convergence Vs Knowledge Integration
Today Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) make it available a novel superimposing environment, i.e. an information-wired environment, which concocts innovative system functionalities, i.e. new artifacts, additional capabilities of affordances, new ways to enable reflexive abilities for both individuals and organizations. Within this environment, also the lines of enquire traditiona...
متن کاملEntropy and Phase Coexistence in Clusters: Metals vs. Nonmetals
Small clusters violate the Gibbs phase rule by exhibiting two or more phases in thermodynamic equilibrium over bands of temperature and pressure. The reason is the small number of particles comprising each system. We review recent results concerning the size ranges for which this behavior is observable. The principal characteristic determining the coexistence range is the transitions entropy ch...
